With c. 30 offices across the UK, PwC had a great opportunity to make a sizeable difference by adopting circular principles in the design of their buildings. It’s also important to them because construction waste is one of the largest waste streams. So they set themselves the goal of achieving the highest possible ratings for buildings as defined by BREEAM, a leading sustainability assessment method for buildings.
PwC´s approach to material use and waste is a big part of this, alongside other criteria such as minimising energy use, maximising renewables use and improving health and wellbeing.
